Private Farmers Assistance Program (PFAP)

PFAP was launched in January 2001 to provide post-privatization assistance to private farmers and rural entrepreneurs in Moldova. PFAP is supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Soros Foundation Moldova and East-West Management Institute. Under PFAP, farmers and rural entrepreneurs, as well as rural associations and NGOs will benefit from technical assistance and information support to help the Moldovan agriculture recover and grow. FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS

2KR Project

From April 2001, the Republic of Moldova has benefited from a technical grant provided to our country by the Japanese Government through the 2KR Moldovan-Japanese Program for implementation of Increase of Food Production Project in agriculture. Agricultural Producers’ Associations participate directly in the selection of agricultural machinery beneficiaries. Click for details

 

DAAC-PLANT

The company “DAAC-PLANT” LLC is specialized in production and sale of seedlings of vegetables, strawberries, ornamental plants grown in cellular pallets and fresh vegetables. It is the only local patent holder of this technology. Click here for details

CNFA (AGROSTOC)

CNFA started implementing the Private Farmers Commercialization Program (PFCP) in February 2001 aimed to found 9 new partnership projects in agribusiness and open another 75 farm stores in addition to the existing network of 10 farm stores during a three-year period. Click here for details.

 

ACSA

ACSA is an organization created at the national level carrying out its activity on the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova and registered with the Ministry of Justice in March 2001. ACSA member-founders are: Association of Rural Extension Consultants ACE-Rural, Private Farmers Assistance Program, National Farmers Federation from Moldova, National Federation of Savings and Credit Associations, Republican Union of Agricultural Producers’ Associations “Uniagroprotect”, RISP-Support Project funded by DFID and implemented by the consulting company Landell Mills.
